Infrastructure

Long-term aspiration is that our people have quality housing, power, water and roads. Short-term focus is on seeking partnerships with the Crown and investors to source funding opportunities to support our whānau with their housing aspirations. 

Employment

Long-term aspiration is that our people have solid employment that brings prosperity to each individual whānau and our Iwi as a whole. Short-term the Trust Board will focus on creating more job and career opportunities on Aotea via our projects across our 5 Pou/Priorities. The Trust aims to proritise whānau for all job positions, this is dependent on skills and experience. Wherever possible the Trust will seek education and development opportunities for whānau to improve their career options. 

Tourism

Long-term aspiration for tourism projects led by Māori for Māori. Short-term the focus is on delivery of the Airport Visitors Centre and seeking opportunities for whānau.
